Since its launch in 2018, Do Good+Work continues to build momentum every year as more and more nonprofits apply. With so many inspiring missions to support, selecting a winner is always a challenge!

2019—Community Bridges

The 2019 winner, Community Bridges, is an organization that empowers girls from diverse backgrounds to become exceptional students, positive leaders, and healthy young women. The campaign kicked off with the development of bright and powerful branding that included rotating slogans based on quotes provided by their very own “CB girls.” We designed a collection of items that the girls would enjoy, including tiered informational cards, notebook, poster, pins and a t-shirt. All items were included in branded reusable tote bags that proudly promote Community Bridge’s message and continue to reach more girls in need.
“BHDC’s creativity is helping to show our impact to the community and to tell our story in a way that we hadn’t had the time or tools to create ourselves.”
—Shannon Babe-Thomas/Community Bridges, 2019 winner

2018—LadyFest

Do Good+Work launched in 2018 when Blue House Design Company collaborated with CONNECT to End Domestic Violence to produce the branding for LADYFEST, a music festival celebrating Martha’s Vineyard’s female musicians and raising awareness for the organization’s mission. We were tasked to develop a bold brand with a nod to Rosie the Riveter. Just like Rosie, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work creating a powerful poster that ignited a buzz around the island for the exciting concert. Since the initial launch, we have partnered with LADYFEST every year as it continues to be an annual success.
BHDC brought life to our creative endeavor before we even realized what we needed.”
