Great graphic design takes your message and translates it into visual content that can span across the world. When Ocean Conservancy reached out to Blue House Design Company to help in their fight against ocean plastic pollution, we couldn’t wait to dive in! We wanted the concept to be simple but done in a beautifully detailed way. On the cover, common plastic pollutants, such as bags, bottles and straws, are seamlessly blended into a bloom of jellyfish to become one pattern, and one message about the effects of pollution on the ocean. Mixed with striking photographs of Vietnam, these illustrations guide the reader through the brochure and hopefully towards joining the international efforts in ocean conservation.
